Mexican arroz con leche or pudding, this delicious mexican dessert is very simple to make and it is a classic yummy sweet treat!

The arroz con leche can be served cold or warm, some people have it for breakfast too.

Ingredients:

1 cup of rice

7 cups of water

2 cinnamon sticks

lemon peel

5 cloves

Boil these ingredients in a sauce pan for about 20 minutes over medium high heat or until rice is soft.

1 can of condensing milk

1 can evaporated milk

1 cup regular milk

1/3 cup brown raisins

1/3 cup golden raisins

1/2 tsp nutmeg

Instructions:

After draining the water and removing the cinnamon sticks and lemon peel, you will add the 3 different milk, nutmeg and raisins to the rice. Reduce the heat to low and stirring frequently to avoid rice sticking to the bottom of the pot. Let it boil for about 20 minutes and serve.

Top it up with cinnamon powder, raisins, ice cream, nuts etc.

I hope you like my recipe. let me know with comments.

Thank you
