Cinnamon Banana Bread- Pan de platano ( English / Spanish recipe)

This traditional banana bread is so easy to make, it only takes few minutes to prepare and taste delicious. Try it with vanilla ice cream.

Banana bread is for many people a favorite recipe, nothing beats the soft, moist, sweet bread perfect with a cup of coffee in the morning, perfect dessert and great wrap and -go breakfast.




Ingredients:

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup margarine or butter

2 eggs

1 cup mashed ripe bananas

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 cups all purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon ginger

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup chopped nuts


Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 F

Grease bottom of 9 x 5 loaf pan

In a large bowl, mix the sugar and margarine until light and fluffy.

Smash the ripe bananas in a bowl.

Incorporate the eggs to the sugar mixture, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, bananas, milk, baking soda, flour and mix well. Then add the chopped nuts, pour the mixture into greased pan, bake for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.


Remove it from the oven and let cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes.

Serve warm or room temperature.




PAN DE PLÁTANO - RECETA EN ESPANOL


Ingredientes:

3/4 taza azúcar

1/2 taza de mantequilla

2 huevos

1 taza de plátanos ya maduros

1/3 taza de leche

1 tsp vainilla

2 tazas de harina

1/4 tsp ginger

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/2 tsp canela

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp sal

1/2 taza de nuez cortada


Instrucciones:

Pre caliente el oven a 350

Ponga mantequilla al 9 x 5 bandeja de hornear


En un recipiente batir la azúcar y la mantequilla hasta que quede suave y cremoso.

En otro recipiente poner los plátanos para aplastarlos y disolverlos, puedes usar un tenedor.

Incorpore los ingredientes al recipiente donde tiene la azúcar; vainilla, ginger, canela, baking soda, nutmeg, sal, leche y bata por varios minutos hasta que la mezcla esté lista. Al último agregamos las nueces y revuelves con una espátula.

Agregue este batido a la bandeja de hornear ya preparada y ponerlo dentro del horno por 50-60 minutos o hasta que con un palillo cheque si sale limpio.


Saque del horno el pan y déjelo descansar por 5 minutos antes de servir.

Puedes servirlo caliente o a temperatura normal con un poco de helado de vainilla.
