Home cooking chicken/beef fajitas! I love to cook outside. It is a tradition for Hispanics to cook out on Sundays. Unless I'm sick, I will be cooking on Sundays chicken and beef fajitas with homemade flour tortillas.

Sundays, perfect time to cook out!

Mexican culture consist of incredible traditions but one of the best thing about Mexico traditions is food....

Preparing the marinade for the chicken or beef fajita is a great way to add flavor to the meat. You can marinade the meat for 1-4 hours before turning on your grill

Now get ready to make the best fajitas ever!!!!

Ingredients for marinade:

2 fresh limes juice

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon white vinegar

3 teaspoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon dry oregano

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Combine the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl

Other ingredients:

1 1/2 pound chicken breast cut butterfly or steak fajita

3 green onions

1 serrano pepper

1 red sweet pepper

3 jalapenos

homemade flour tortillas

molcajete hot sauce

Place the meat inside a zip blog bag and add the marinade mixture. Mix well until meat is covered with ingredients for 1-4 hours or overnight inside refrigerator. remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes prior to cook.

Grill should be medium high heat. Place the meat on the medium high side of the charcoal/gas grill and on a lower heat place the vegetables to be cooked.

Chicken does not take too long to cook, flip over the chicken and vegetables until chicken is tender and golden brown.

Remove the meat and vegetables from the grill and wait few minutes to rest the meat. To assembly the tacos: cutting the beef on a cutting board, and serve them in a homemade flour tortilla topped with vegetables and hot sauce.

Serve the beef /Chicken fajitas with Mexican rice, guacamole, vegetables and Pico de Gallo.

You can find all the recipes in this website.

Enjoy.....
