Summer time is my favorite time to grill or cook out. Every Sunday no matter what I cook out. Sundays is my kids perfect day to gather as family and enjoy a good cook out.

Normally I grill fajitas, steak or chicken, this time I decided to do something lean and healthy. I decided to grill turkey burgers! this is the first time I use ground turkey.
Turkey burgers taste as good as a beefy burger, these turkey burgers turn out juicy and flavorful, prep time is about 10 minutes, very easy recipe.
I couldn't be more thrilled with how it's turned out, so delicious and juicy.
Ingredients:
Dry ingredients
Lean ground turkey
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dry rosemary
1 tsp Chayanne powder
2 eggs
1/3 cup flour
Buns
American cheese/mozzarella
onions
Pico de gallo
avocado
jalapeno

In a large mixing bowl add the ground turkey and all the dry ingredients, the eggs and flour. Mix together all the ingredients until you have one big ball.
Shape into patties, dividing equally the portions of 1/2 inch thick.
Have the grill ready and place the patties on the grill, you don't need to worry about these turkey burgers crumbling or falling apart on the grill, because eggs and flour helps keep the burgers from falling apart.
Have the patties cook about 5-6 minutes each side and you will see the grill marks, use a metal spatula to flip them.

Let the patties rest about three minutes on a low heat spot on the grill or use foil paper
and keep them until ready to serve.
You may want to use a thermometer to check internal temperature, it has to reached 165 F of more.
Assemble the burger:
I normally place the burger back on the grill to melt the cheese for a minute, removing it and placing onto the bun. Add the pico de gallo and top it with slice of avocado.
You can have as many toppings as you want.
Enjoy
Letty
