White Rice with roasted corn

Rice is a side dish for many dishes, it is so simple and easy to make.

I like to cook white rice because it complements a lot of different dishes. White rice can be make with vegetables, raisins, nuts and many other options.


This recipe will take about 25-30 minutes.


Ingredients:

1cup white rice long grain

1 teaspoon salt

2 garlic cloves minced

1 teaspoon bouillon chicken flavor

1 cup of frozen roasted corn

2 cups of water or chicken broth


Instructions:


in a saucepan over medium high heat add the minced garlic and roasted for a minute. Add the rice, salt, bouillon and broth or water. Cook for 3 minutes covered with a lid and reduce to very low heat to steam the rice. Do not uncover or stir the rice while cooking. Check once if it needs more water, you may need to add a little bit of water to finish cooking.


Serve with steak, chicken, fish and more.
